MEET THE LEADERS
Pastor George & Angelika Budd
George grew up in the Saskatoon area and spent four years at Millar College of the Bible before coming to Coronach in May 2021. The previous summer he and Angelika got married, having met one another at Bible School. Being in the early days of both marriage and ministry, they are excited to see these areas grow and develop in the welcoming church community in Coronach. A foundational verse for George in his approach to ministry has been Colossians 1:28-29 “Christ we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” This reminds him of the goal: to guide people towards Christian maturity, but also the means: by toiling not with our strength but with the Lord’s power at work in us.
Elders Board
As a group, these men give spiritual direction and care for the congregation. As well they oversee the maintenance of the the facilities.
Elders are elected by the members of the local congregation for a 3 year term and can serve two consecutive terms. Trustees are elected by the members each year for a one year term.
